Marin Adult Education

The Marin Adult Education Program (MAEP) is dedicated to serving the educational and workforce needs of adults in Marin County. Free classes are available countywide in ESL, GED preparation, high school diploma, short-term career training and parent-child success classes.  MAEP is divided into four regions:

  • North Marin, served by Novato Adult School; 
  • Central Marin, served by San Rafael Adult School;
  • South Marin, served by Tamalpais Adult School; and
  • West Marin, served by Shoreline Unified School District. 

College of Marin is centrally located and offers free, non-credit ESL instruction and credit classes. The Marin County Office of Education is also centrally located and offers parent/child success programs. Please click on the links below to explore MAEP programs.
